With the launch of Zest, Tata motors have finally hit the much awaited problem which they wanted to face of waiting period. It’s a sweet pain for the company to see the overwhelming response for Zest compact sedan and struggling to fulfill the demand. Currently the waiting period is somewhere around 6 months for Zest.
Now to get benefit of the charm of this new car platform, Tata motors is all set to launch its small sibling called Bolt. This car was expected to be launched in year 2014. But now it’ll likely to be launched in early next year. Bolt will also get rich features like Zest. And it’ll be the first in its class to provide features like integrated intelligent system developed by Tata Motors and HARMAN.
On top of that, Tata motors have join hands with leading Map technology company MapMyIndia to provide great customer experience to Tata Bolt owners. The car will come with integrated Map system into dashboard intelligent touch screen. MapmyIdia is known for their Map based navigation technology and easy interface. With this new step Tata Bolt will leave their competitors way behind.
In a recent press release spokesman from MapmyIndia said something like this, “Rakesh Verma, Managing Director, said, “It has been our constant endeavour to offer the Indian car owners, the very best of GPS navigation. And in this ongoing journey I am happy that India’s largest automotive manufacturer Tata Motors has partnered with us. This would give us access to the large number of Tata car buyers and MapmyIndia’s navigation package would certainly add to their (customer) delight. I look forward to a long and mutually fruitful partnership.”
Under the hood the new upcoming Tata Bolt will powered by 1.2 Litre Revotron Engine which gives 85 bhp at 5000 rpm. The diesel variant will be having 1.3 Litre Quadrajet engine which generates 73 bhp power. Both the variant will come with 5 Speed manual Transmission.
With the recent decrease in Petrol and Diesel Prices in India, It’ll be interesting buy for the Indian consumers.
