Hey.. Recently I have shifted to a new city due to my new job. The first thing which I was looking for after renting an apartment was a internet connection. Unfortunately in my apartment no wired connections were available except local cable broadband. And I have found that that was also expensive as they were charging around 1500 Rs on the name on registration and installation. And after that plan was starting with 900 Rs.

After some research I have decided not to stick with any one operator. So, I have bought a Huawei wifi dongle (model E8231). My plan was to use BSNL prepay card in it.

Now the real story begins… I have inserted my bsnl 3G sim in Huawei Wifi Dongle and bingo…

In my case with BSNL, this change significantly change the speed. Because in case of BSNL it’s keep switching between 2G and 3G. And the speed I was getting was only around 0.20 MBPS. But after this change I’m getting constant speed of around 0.8 to 1 MBPS

You can try this with any other network too like TATA DOCOMO, IDEA, VODAFONE, AIRTEL, etc. I think it’ll work in same way with all those networks as well.
