Hyundai’s new hatchback i-10 Grand is ready to launch on 3rd September. With the recent launch of Maruti Suzuki’s face lifted Wagon R Stingray, Hyundai is ready to give fight back with new Grand i-10. With the Grand i-10 Hyundai is trying to fill a gap between i-10 and i-20.
We can expect fresh new interiors as well as major changes to the exterior look of the vehicle. Hyundai have worked hard this time to compete with Maruti Suzuki. As Hyundai motors is currently the third largest car manufacturer in India, and with the new products lined up in coming months Hyundai is tar
geting to increase it’s footprint in Indian automobile industry.
The Grand i-10 will be available in four trims – Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (Optional).The car will be offered with two engine options, a 1.1-litre, three cylinder U2 VGT diesel motor that develops an estimated 70bhp, and the familiar 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with a four-speed automatic as an option. We can expect lots of first in class facilities like a dash-mounted gearbox similar to the one in the i10, climate control, dual airbags and an audio system with USB, aux-in and Bluetooth compatibility. The higher variants will get alloy wheels, chrome door handles, electric wing mirrors and keyless entry and go as well.
We can expect that Hyundai will launch Grand i-10 at starting price of Rs. 4.5 Lacs.
